Tropical and subtropical fruit improvement

Special PES facesheet, summarizing the attached special evaluation (XD-AAJ-497-A) covers the period 7/77-7/81. Official termination of the project is scheduled for 12/31/81. USAID/Y concurs with the outside evaluators" recommendations (see the abstract of PD-AAJ-498), and has already incorporated these recommendations into the final design of the Agricultural Development Subproject in Horticulture. Salvageable and useful project activities have been subsumed by Project 279 0052 being implemented by the Consortium for International Development.
