USAID award no. 615-0266-G-00-6004-00 to Civic Resource and Information Centre for a program in supporting democracy and governance in Kenya

Under the project, a core group of ten people drawn from Kenya"s major political parties (FORD Kenya, Ford Asili, DP, KANU), church and religious communities, and the organized civil sector will continue efforts already underway to lobby policymakers and leaders in their sector to participate in two major summits of national reconciliation which have been scheduled for September 1996 and March 1997. About 100 people are expected to attend each summit.
