Grant is provided to Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) to partially support salary costs at the Intensive Nutritional Recuperation and Education Center (CRENI) being established by MSF in Foulpointe, Madagascar, to serve children suffering from severe protein-energy malnutrition in the aftermath of Cyclone Bonita, which hit the east coast of Madagascar in January 1996.

The CRENI will serve approximately 100 children for a 3.5 month period.
