Abstract
The project aimed to support the integration of demographic data into local development plans, with a focus on addressing the challenges of population growth and demographic changes. The project involved three types of activities: awareness-raising, training, and follow-up visits. The awareness-raising activities included workshops and training sessions for local government officials, civil society organizations, and community leaders. The training sessions focused on the importance of using demographic data in local development planning, and the need to address the challenges of population growth and demographic changes. The follow-up visits were conducted to monitor the progress of the project and to provide technical assistance to local government officials. The project also involved the development of a project proposal and a budget for the implementation of the project. The project was implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation. The project was funded by the USAID Jordan Communication, Advocacy, and Policy Project.
