Her father was a marine biologist with a PhD, and her mother was a librarian who rose to the position of Ghana's Deputy Director of Library Services. Eunice's interest in science, particularly physics, began in high school, where a teacher made the subject matter exciting. She pursued electrical engineering at Iowa State University, where she obtained both her bachelor's and master's degrees. Eunice's career in the energy sector spans over two decades. She began working for Northern States Power Company (NSP), one of the largest utilities in the US mid-west, where she gained expertise in power generation scheduling systems and economic dispatch. She later worked for Cummins Power Generation, leading marketing for non-traditional markets. In the mid-2000s, Eunice moved back to Ghana, where she worked as the Project Director of the Tema Osonor Power Project. She later became the CEO of CENIT Energy Limited, a leading power generation entity in the West African power generation sector. Eunice has been a strong advocate for women in the energy and power sectors. She was a member of the Society of Women Engineers in college and was instrumental in the creation of Women in Energy (WiE) Ghana, a platform to promote women's leadership in the energy sector. She currently serves as an active member of the management committee and is the chairperson of the executive committee of the Executive Women Network. Eunice believes in the importance of role modeling and mentoring, stating that women need to see role models they can emulate to achieve success in the sector.
