The American University of Beirut University Scholarship Program (USP 7) offers full coverage to assist 124 male and female public school students in pursuing their undergraduate studies at the American University of Beirut (AUB).

Abstract
The main objective of the scholarship is to give young students coming from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds in the 26 districts of Lebanon access to high-quality college education. The scholarship covers enrolled students' fees, including tuition, housing, books, a laptop, and stipends for up to five years. During their stay at AUB, the students will have to maintain a good academic status while being involved in a community service project and internship work outside AUB in fields related to their majors. The program has a total of 353 scholarships disbursed to-date, with 222 students enrolled during the reporting period. The total number of scholars who graduated this reporting period is 57, with 13 of them employed. The total cumulative number of scholars who graduated to-date under the program is 118. The program has also seen a total of 222 drop-outs throughout the entire program duration. USP (7) students completed their 2017-2018 Fall and Spring semesters registrations toward the end of August 2017 and January 2018, respectively. The Academic Monitor and Program Coordinators individually verified their schedules, registration progress, and graduation plans. The students' academic enrollment for the 2017-2018 Fall and Spring semesters is as follows: 53 students in Cycle I, 71 students in Cycle II, and 0 students in Cycle III. The students' academic standing for the 2017-2018 Fall semester is also provided, with 53 students in Cycle I and 71 students in Cycle II. The Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficiency (CAAP) test was conducted during AY 2017-2018, with the second CAAP exam for continuing cycle 1 students and the baseline collection for the newly selected cycle 2 students. The results of the CAAP test are as follows: 52 students in USP (1), 53 students in USP (4), 65 students in USP (5), 59 students in USP (6), and 53 students in USP (7) - Cycle I, with 71 students in USP (7) - Cycle II. The community engaging activities of USP (7) students are also highlighted, with a focus on volunteering activities, significant events, and clubs/societies that USP (7) students are engaging in. The report concludes with planned upcoming activities.
