2023 Anti-Corruption ALA Rapid Literature Review

The review aims to identify effective anti-corruption approaches that can be applied across multiple sectors. It examines various aspects of anti-corruption efforts, including transparency and awareness raising, social and institutional accountability, prevention, detection, and response. The review is based on a search of recent literature from 2018-2022 and includes case studies, literature reviews, expert opinion surveys, impact evaluations, and randomized controlled trials. The findings are organized by category, highlighting successes and lessons learned in each area. The review is intended to inform USAID programming and policy decisions related to anti-corruption efforts.
