Abstract
The report provides an overview of the context for DDR programs, the range of OTI DDR programming, and the lessons learned in program design, including the importance of political will, contextual design, community-focused approaches, breaking command and control structures, monitoring and evaluation, and longer-term investment. The report aims to inform and improve future DDR programming by sharing the experiences and insights gained from OTI's interventions in post-conflict environments.
