USAID CCBO SCIL Survey: Component 1 Planning Preparation Guide

This document is a preparation guide for the Solid Waste Management Index (SCIL) survey, which is a component of the Clean Cities, Blue Ocean (CCBO) toolkit of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Abstract

The document provides an overview of all the questions in Component 1: Planning of the SCIL survey, which assesses the capacity of local governments to manage solid waste. The survey consists of 36 yes/no questions related to planning and management of solid waste, and respondents are asked to provide evidence to support their answers. The document is intended to help participants in the evaluation review each question and gather evidence to support their responses, which will be used to calculate the SCIL score.
