Adolescent and Gender-Responsive Health Systems Evaluation Tool

The tool assesses seven key elements of a healthcare system, including leadership and governance, service delivery, health workforce, health information systems, essential medicines and technology, financing, and community engagement. It provides a framework for each element, with characteristics that would make the healthcare system more responsive to adolescents and gender-specific needs, and four criteria for each characteristic to score from 0 to 3. The tool is designed to be used by a team of stakeholders, including adolescents of different genders, healthcare providers, and civil society, under the leadership of the Ministry of Health.
