Abstract

It provides an analysis of the legal and policy environment in Nigeria, with a focus on gender-based violence (GBV), including intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and child early and forced marriage. The report examines the national legal framework and its implementation in Ebonyi and Sokoto states, identifying key gaps, challenges, and priority trends. It also provides recommendations for the MOMENTUM team to consider in their programming to combat GBV in Nigeria.
