Couple Concordance Index and Contraceptive Use in Togo: A Research Brief

The study constructs the CCI using national-level data from Demographic and Health Surveys and explores regional differences in couple concordance and its relationship with position along the modern contraceptive prevalence rate (mCPR) S-curve. The brief presents global and regional results, including CCI scores, domain-specific results, and the relationship between CCI and mCPR. The study's findings highlight the importance of inclusive family planning programs that emphasize the role of both men and women in contraceptive decision-making.
