Abstract
The brief presents the construction of the Couple Concordance Index (CCI) and its relationship with the modern Contraceptive Prevalence Rate (mCPR) S-curve. The study analyzes data from 65 countries and 47 counties in Kenya, exploring the differences in couple concordance across regions and its correlation with mCPR. The brief concludes that there is a strong relationship between the CCI and contraceptive use, emphasizing the need for inclusive family planning programs that consider the role of both men and women.
