Executive Summary: Strengthening Continuing Professional Development in Ghana

The report uses a behaviorally focused applied political economy analysis (BF-APEA) to understand the current CPD system and identify solutions to improve it. The BF-APEA process involved participatory research with stakeholders to identify key behaviors required to achieve the goal of CPD, which is to equip practitioners with relevant competencies to improve health outcomes. The report highlights key research findings, recommendations, and next steps to address the factors that impact the practice of CPD behaviors.
