Immunization Equity Gaps HCD Workshop Report Madagascar

The report summarizes a four-session human-centered design (HCD) workshop held in Antananarivo and Moramanga districts of Madagascar to identify barriers and challenges to reaching zero-dose children, reducing missed opportunities for vaccination, and improving birth dose vaccination and urban poor immunization. The workshop brought together stakeholders from the Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) team, health facility immunization service providers, community leaders, caregivers, and civil society organizations to generate creative solutions to these challenges. The report outlines the objectives, methodology, and expected outcomes of the workshop, as well as the findings and recommendations for improving immunization equity in Madagascar.
