Abstract
The strategy focuses on social and behavior change (SBC) approaches to strengthen health resilience capacities in fragile settings. The document presents five principles to enhance resilience: 1) use participatory approaches to build trust between citizens and duty bearers, 2) use informed planning to anticipate shocks, 3) engage community health workers in co-creating solutions, 4) prioritize coordination and collaboration with SBC partners, and 5) be nimble and pivot when needed without delay. The document provides examples and case studies to illustrate each principle and highlights the importance of adaptive management, flexibility, and coordination in responding to shocks and stresses.
