MOMENTUM Adolescent Experience of Care Scoping Review

It was conducted by the MOMENTUM Knowledge Accelerator and funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The review aims to understand current definitions of patient-reported experience of care for adolescents, identify important theoretical domains to measure adolescent experience of care, and identify measures of experience of care for adolescents in maternal, reproductive, and family planning health care. The review includes a literature search of peer-reviewed and grey literature from low- and middle-income countries, and applies a modified Critical Appraisal Skills Programme (CASP) checklist to assess the quality of the included articles. The findings of the review are presented in a table, which maps the theoretical domains of experience of care as defined by Ambresin et al. (2013) to their relevance in low- and middle-income countries.
