Abstract
It presents the results of a multi-level consultation with health workers, administrators, and leaders in Sierra Leone regarding the implementation of integrated management of childhood illness (IMCI). The report highlights the strengths, challenges, and opportunities for improvement in IMCI implementation in Sierra Leone, including successes in supervision and mentorship, challenges in coordination and management, training, supervision, motivation, referrals, and supplies and equipment. The report also provides recommendations for addressing these challenges and improving IMCI implementation in Sierra Leone.
