Momentum PPH and HDP Survey Preliminary Findings (2022)

The presentation reports on the preliminary findings of a survey on national programs for the prevention and management of postpartum hemorrhage (PPH) and hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP) in 33 countries across sub-Saharan Africa, South and Southeast Asia, and the Caribbean. The survey aimed to understand the policies, commodities, and quality of care provided in the private sector and the extent to which global guidelines, updated in the last 10 years, have been integrated into public and private sectors. The presentation covers the background and methods of the study, including the survey instrument, data analysis, and participating countries from 2011 to 2022.
