MPHD Technical Report: Private Sector Engagement for Immunization Programs

It provides an updated evidence base on PSE, synthesizing experiences and lessons learned from the past 20 years. The report examines motivations, barriers, and enablers of PSE, risks and challenges, and mechanisms of engagement between the public and private sectors. It also presents promising practices and applies them to the task of rebuilding and extending immunization programs after the COVID-19 pandemic. The report aims to inform policymakers, program managers, and stakeholders on how to effectively engage the private sector in immunization service delivery to improve coverage and equity.
