Pediatric Experience of Care Framework: Stakeholder Feedback Brief

It presents the results of a qualitative study that solicited expert feedback from 12 national stakeholders in four countries (Ethiopia, India, Laos, and Uganda) on a draft framework for measuring pediatric experience of care. The framework aims to improve the quality of care for children and their families in low- and middle-income countries. The brief highlights the challenges and gaps in current efforts to improve pediatric experience of care, including limited resources, inadequate dissemination of best practices, and the need for standardized measurement tools. It also summarizes the feedback on the framework's domains, including effective communication, respect and child protection, emotional and psychological support, and child-friendly physical space and resources.
