Abstract
The study aims to determine whether national-level sentinel food lists can capture sentinel foods consumed by 90% of the population at the subnational level, and if they can accurately measure food group consumption for women and children. The research finds that nationally adapted DQQ sentinel food lists can provide accurate diet quality data at the subnational level for most food groups, but with some variability among regions and limitations in capturing fruit and vegetable consumption.
