Baseline Quantitative Report on Acute Malnutrition in Samburu County, Kenya

The study aims to support community-driven activity design and is part of the Nawiri project. The report presents the results of a quantitative survey conducted in 2021, which collected data on household characteristics, maternal and child nutrition, food security, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) practices. The report includes an executive summary, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, and conclusions, as well as annexes with additional information on indicators, methods, and frequency of data collection. The study's findings will inform the design of community-driven activities to address acute malnutrition in Samburu County.
