Abstract
It was developed by the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development in Uganda, with technical and logistical support from the U.S. Agency for International Development's Food and Nutrition Technical Assistance III Project (FANTA). The tool is designed to monitor the integration of food and nutrition security and early childhood development into community development programming at the district, sub-county, parish, community, and household levels. It includes forms for data collection and reporting, as well as guidelines for implementation and supervision. The tool aims to assess the availability of an enabling environment, the status of community mobilization, and good practices, gaps, and learning opportunities to inform strengthening of community mobilization for food and nutrition security and early childhood development.
