This document is a poster titled IODINE IN SALT CAN BE DETERMINED RELIABLY, AFFORDABLY, AND SIMPLY IN A COMMON UV/VIS SPECTROPHOTOMETER created by USAID Advancing Nutrition in November 2020.
2020

Abstract
The poster presents the results of a study comparing the performance of a laboratory spectrophotometric method and three single-wavelength spectrophotometric devices for quantifying iodine in salt against the standard iodometric titration method. The study aims to determine the accuracy, precision, simplicity of use, and cost of each method. The poster includes tables and graphs comparing the results of the different methods, as well as conclusions and recommendations for the use of spectrophotometric methods in measuring iodine in salt.
