2017

Abstract
The report presents the results of a follow-up assessment of a nutrition study conducted in rural Bangladesh, which evaluated the effectiveness of home fortification approaches for preventing maternal and child undernutrition during the first 1,000 days. The study involved four intervention arms, including comprehensive lipid-based nutrient supplements, child-only lipid-based nutrient supplements, child-only micronutrient powder, and a control group. The report presents the long-term effects of these interventions on maternal and child outcomes, including child growth, development, food preferences, and maternal health outcomes, when the children were 40-52 months of age.
