Malnutrition Hotspots Mapping & Analysis in Isiolo County

It was produced under the Nawiri program, which aims to sustainably reduce persistent acute malnutrition in Kenya's arid and semi-arid lands (ASALs). The report presents the results of a retrospective systematic review of secondary data on children under five years from 2010-2020 to establish the levels of acute malnutrition at the county, subcounty, and ward levels. The report identifies malnutrition hotspots and establishes seasonality trends in Isiolo County, providing insights for targeting subsequent Nawiri implementation activities and strategies.
