Recommended Maternal Nutrition Priorities for Uganda Report

It is a 30-page report published by USAID Advancing Nutrition, which presents the findings and recommendations from a field test of the Maternal Nutrition Operational Guidance in Uganda. The report aims to identify implementation priorities for maternal nutrition in Uganda, aligning with and supporting the newly drafted Maternal, Infant, Young Child, and Adolescent Nutrition Guidelines developed by the Uganda Ministry of Health and partners. The report provides an overview of the field test, its methodology, and the recommended maternal nutrition priorities for Uganda, including increasing advocacy for maternal nutrition, conducting costing for nutrition activities, strengthening multi-sectoral coordination, and strengthening capacity of health facilities and community health workers to provide maternal nutrition services.
