Abstract
It was prepared by the Government of Uganda, USAID, and USAID Advancing Nutrition. The report reviews the marketing strategies, promotional messages, materials, and interventions used to promote food fortification in Uganda. It presents the findings of a formative assessment that included a review of previous food fortification campaigns, point-of-sale observations, key informant interviews, and a co-creation workshop. The report aims to identify the strengths, gaps, and errors of previous campaigns and proposes solutions for future campaigns to increase the uptake of fortified foods in Uganda.
