Abstract
The 1-day training on "Participatory Planning" was conducted in Tehsil Shabqaddar, District Charsadda, with the aim of empowering local communities to take ownership of development initiatives. The training was organized by the Society for Human and Institutional Development. The training focused on equipping participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to engage in participatory planning. This included understanding the principles and practices of participatory planning, identifying community needs and priorities, and developing a participatory planning framework. The training also emphasized the importance of building partnerships and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The training methodology involved a combination of lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities. Participants were encouraged to share their experiences and insights, and to work together to develop a shared understanding of the planning process.
