Abstract
In Mozambique (Subproject 56), the project will rehabilitate the Beira-Machipanda rail system, including track and locomotive repair and rehabilitation, workshop conversion, equipment, on-the-job training, and short-term TA. In Zambia (Subproject 11), the project will finance the spare parts needed to rehabilitate the existing fleet of locomotives. Additional rehabilitation activities will be carried out by other donors under a World Bank project. See also Subproject abstracts.
