Action memorandum for the Acting Assistance Administrator for Africa : grant to the IBRD for a regional railway policy workshop for the Southern Africa regional program (SARP) (SADCC technical support grant to the World Bank, 690-0261)

The workshop, to be conducted under the World Bank"s Sub-Saharan Africa Transport Policy Program (SSATP), will be part of the design process for the Southern Africa Regional Program (SARP) Transport Efficiency Project (6900256) and other proposed regional transport policy and management reform efforts. The workshop will be attended by some 40 participants and will address such issues as railway economics and railway restructuring.
