Abstract
JSI Research and Training will co-implement the project, which is the major component of the broader Cambodian PVO Humanitarian Assistance Program initiated by USAID in 1990. Special emphasis will be placed on establishing economically viable community groups and replicable projects. Project activities will include: training and commodity support to humanitarian assistance efforts (including TA to both emerging self-help community groups supported by the NGO"s and the NGO"s themselves); village food security (food, storage, and distribution); primary health care/community health; nutrition, sanitation, and leadership training; small project design and management; training and management needs assessment; socioeconomic surveys and needs assessments; small-scale credit and microenterprise training and support; and financial and commodity management training. Activities that strengthen indigenous community groups will be given priority.
