AID cooperative agreement no. 623-0266-A-00-5143-00 with the Public Law Institute for a six week seminar on democratization in Kenya

The seminar will be held at the Les Aspin Center for Government in Washington, DC, and will address the following topics: democratic theory, media law, interest group politics, election operations, public administration, and policy development. In addition, guest lectures will be conducted by senior government officials from Congress, the State Department, the Pentagon, and members of the diplomatic corps. Kenyan participants will include members of the media, women, public officials, and students. MU will prepare and disseminate widely a final report on the seminar.
