Grant is provided to the Harvard Institute for International Development (HIID) to develop a program of policy analysis and training in environmental economics for Asian economists and policy analysts.

Abstract
The program will have three components: an annual 5-week training workshop in the U.S. for at least 25 Asian economists and policy analysts; an annual regional policy seminar for 25 high-level policymakers; and research and TA for A.I.D."s Asia Bureau in support of its initiatives and programs, including the preparation of a series of policy-oriented analytical papers on Asian environmental economics.
