and Latin American businesses. IESC personnel or independent consultants will undertake some 35 feasibility studies and provide other support services for interested in-country and U.S. counterpart enterprises. The joint venture partners will pay 50% of the cost of IESC services (with a maximum A.I.D. contribution of $15,000). The JVFF will assist businesses based on the following criteria: a nontraditional export focus, a potential for new employment opportunities, business viability, and credit-worthiness. IESC will disseminate a report on co-venture development and nontraditional forms of U.S.-developing country private enterprise cooperation.
