PD&S grant is provided to the Center for Democratic Studies (CEDEM), a Salvadoran civic association, to support two 3-day workshops on conflict negotiation.

Abstract
The objective is to equip leaders of key sectors of Salvadoran society (including organized labor, the private sector, and political parties) with negotiating skills and a tested approach to non-adversarial discussion of economic and social issues. The first workshop will be held in 11/92, the second early in 1993. There will be approximately 40 participants.
