Grant is provided under the Technical Support, Policy Analysis, and Training project (5190349) to the Institute for Juridical Studies of El Salvador (IEJES) to conduct a forum on strengthening democracy in El Salvador.

Abstract

The forum, which will be co-sponsored by Casa de la Amistad, will bring together some 150 Salvadorans and special invitees from other Latin and European participants to discuss: the roles of public and private institutions in democracy; the need for judicial reform; and economic and social development policies. The forum is scheduled for December 1991.
