Abstract
FPOP will expand its FP services (pills, condoms, intra-uterine devices, male and female voluntary surgical contraception), and will integrate MCH services, including pre- and postnatal care, pregnancy testing, and immunizations, into its FP delivery system. Specific targets are to: (1) provide FP/MCH services (including natural FP) at 26 FPOP clinics, 15 of which will provide voluntary surgical contraception (VSC), and through 15 Comprehensive Itinerant Teams, who will operate in areas where there are no clinics; (2) provide FP/MCH promotion and referrals through 1,200 community-based volunteers; (3) serve at least 55,000 new acceptors of reversible FP methods, 9,500 VSC acceptors, and 45,000 MCH beneficiaries, while maintaining FP services for 128,000 continuing users; (4) refer 10,800 persons to other MCH centers; and (5) provide subsidy support to other NGO"s to carry out 20,500 VSC procedures.
