Grant is provided under the Agricultural Extension and Outreach Project (4930280) to the Asian American Free Labor Institute (AAFLI) to promote adherence to Thailand"s worker rights and protection laws through training and counseling services.

Abstract
AAFLI training will be provided to: 300 local union leaders in the operations of the Labor Court and the Labor Relations Committee; (2) 50 associate judges of the Labor Court in their roles and responsibilities; and (3) attorneys in representing workers in labor law cases. The AAFLI will also establish a self-supporting labor counseling program for workers in a selected industrial area to serve as a model for the Thai labor movement.
