Grant is provided under the PVO Co-Financing II project (4970336) to Yayasan Indonesia Sejahtera (YIS) to introduce a program of appropriate technology to increase fish yields at Lake Toba, in North Sumatra.

Abstract
YIS, working with a subgrantee, Lembaga Studi Pemgembangan Wilayah (LSPW), will install 27 impounding-net cages for the production of common carp and red tilapia at the Ambarita Fish Hatchery Center. A variety of stocking and feeding rates will be tested prior to installation of the cages.
