Abstract
BZTEC will: (1) rehabilitate Parrots Wood Biological Research Station, developing it into an interactive educational and nature center, which will host a variety of activities, such as training, meetings, teacher workshops, and programs for schoolchildren; (2) provide a subgrant to the Belize Center for Environmental Studies to assist Belize"s new Department of Environment to develop model legislation and an information base for environmental assessments, monitoring, and quality control.
