AID grant no. 532-0141-G-SS-5192-00 to the Kingston Restoration Company, LTD. to help raise the level of inner city productive employment

to rehabilitate derelict buildings in downtown Kingston, Jamaica, and convert them to factory space for light manufacturing industries. Upon completion, the renovated space (measuring about 50,000 sq ft) will be leased to garment manufacturers, small food processing businesses, or other such firms. In addition to actual construction and refurbishing of buildings, project funds will be utilized for clearing several ruins in the surrounding area. The project is expected to create employment for about 400 persons.
