Grant to the American Joint-Jewish Distribution Committee (AJDC) to help about 45,000 farmers in the Gonder Zuria and Gayint regions of Ethiopia to recover from 1984-1987 droughts.

Abstract
AJDC will distribute to needy farmers about 950 metric tons of maize, wheat, barley, sorghum, teff, and other seeds. In addition, AJDC will provide medicine for oxen used as draft animals, and fertilizer to those farmers who have a need for it.
