AID grant no. 623-0433-G-SS-7021-00 to the African Wildlife Foundation to provide support for training in wildlife management conducted by Mweka Wildlife College

The subproject will: (1) sponsor ten African students at Mweka; (2) upgrade the college library by purchasing textbooks, journal subscriptions, and reference and training materials; (3) purchase classroom and laboratory equipment; (4) partially or completely sponsor an African instructor to teach courses dealing with public awareness of conservation, the relationship between conservation and rural development, and the extension service aspects of parks and protected area management.
