Abstract
Title XII projects overseas. Under the grant, Cornell staff will: (1) help Egerton University in Kenya develop curricula and instructional materials in such areas as agroforestry, as well as a model for developing further instructional materials; (2) help visiting faculty from the University of Zimbabwe develop a text on savannah ecology; and (3) develop a database and provide training in three localities in Africa for ALES, a computer program which permits agronomists to build land evaluation expert systems according to the methodology of the Food and Agriculture Organization.
