AID grant no. 698-0541.15-G-00-5123-00 to the Professionals Committee for Democratic Change to support a project to overcome obstacles to press freedom in Kenya

Grant is provided to the Professionals Committee for Democratic Change, a Kenyan NGO, to conduct five workshops for journalists in which they will examine legal obstacles to freedom of the press in Kenya, identify methods of overcoming these obstacles, and formulate recommendations for legislative changes.

Workshop results will be compiled in a manual for use by other journalists.
