AID grant no. 698-0541.15-G-00-5125 to the Public Law Institute in support of two public interest cases over a 12 month period

The fund will support PLI"s taking on of two public interest legal cases over a 12-month period. The public interest cases to be funded may be in the areas of human rights, land rights, or administrative processes, and they must meet the following criteria: no one else is ready to pursue them; the persons whose interests are injured are poor or politically weak; and the cases will heighten public awareness of injustices and of good governance practices.
