OPG to the American Institute for Free Labor Development (AIFLD) to support five union-to-community food distribution centers in urban El Salvador, three in San Salvador (in the barrios of Mexicanos, San Jacinto, and colonia Costa Rica), and one each in the secondary cities of San Miguel and Santa Ana.

Abstract
The centers will operate under the auspices and supervision of the Federacion de Sindicatos de la Industria de la Construccion, Similaries, Transportes, y de Otras Actividades (FESINCONSTRANS). Through distribution of food at cost, the centers will assure adequate nutrition to union members and their families as well as to potential members living in the areas targeted. The centers will also serve as bases for other community development activities.
