AID grant no. AID/PHA-G-1104 to Meals for Millions Foundation to obtain additional talent to allow planning, programming, management and evaluation for nutrition programs in malnourished LDC populations

MFM will hire additional staff (an associate program director, a food nutritionist, a food development researcher, a training coordinator, and a librarian) and expand its facilities. Quantitative targets are to: (1) transfer appropriate protein food technology to 20 countries; (2) train 30 food technologists; (3) develop/continue nutrition and food development programs in at least 6 countries; and (4) provide specialized training, stressing the use of locally available nutritious foods, to other PVOs.
